Traveler on a journey of seeking knowledge
I am all about average and being the vice president of Pakistani Students Association at Massey for two years, having three publications in international journals with decent rankings and presenting in two international conferences at the end only assure me that I continue to remain a traveler on the journey of seeking knowledge. Besides I loved being the voice of Massey Muslim Association and Pakistani Students Association as an orator at several educational and extracurricular rostrums during all my Massey years.
Islamic centre at Massey has been our haven in times of distress. It’s a place of reassurance and the place where Muslim students find their balance. It is a place where we are constantly reminded about our duties and responsibilities. The lessons and reminders in Friday sermons become our guiding torch for the whole week. Moreover, since the traditions and culture of the fellow Muslim students is so much alike it feels like home away from home. Bless all those who laid its foundations and all those who approved of this idea of having an Islamic centre in Massey University Palmerston North’s premise
