Massey Summer Holidays

As most of us won't be around at Massey University during the Christmas close-down period, there won't be any Jumu'ah (Friday prayer) on 26th December 2014 and 02 January 2015  at Massey Islamic Center. Everyone is kindly requested to attend Jumu'ah at City Masjid (81 Cook Street, Palmerston North). 

Now I know , how to cope up with Stress :) Alhamdulillah

The Day of Eid ul Adha (Festival of Sacrifice) is an important occasion celebrated by Muslims globally on the 10th of Dhul Hijjah to honour the willingness of ʾIbrāhīm (Abraham)(peace be upon him)  to sacrifice his son Ismā'īl (Ishmael)(pbuh) as an act of obedience to Allah Ta’ala, before Allah Ta’ala intervened to provide him with a sheep to sacrifice instead.
